On November 19, the Ottawa West-Nepean NDP held its Annual General Meeting (AGM), bringing together members to review the past year, discuss priorities, and elect a new executive team.
The meeting highlighted the riding association’s achievements over the past year, including candidate nominations, active community engagement, successful fundraising efforts, and the launch of a rebranded website. Financial updates showed strong growth, positioning the association for a busy year ahead as it prepares for the 2025 elections.
Key discussions included ongoing advocacy for affordability, housing, and mental health at both the provincial and federal levels. Members also explored ways to continue supporting equity and representation, particularly for LGBTQIA2S+ communities.
The meeting concluded with the election of the 2024–2025 riding executive, who are ready to build on this momentum in the coming year.
