It is time for the Annual General Meeting of the Ottawa West-Nepean NDP Riding Associations. We have a year of activities to report on, an Executive to elect, delegates (and alternates) to elect to the Ontario NDP Convention in Toronto (April 21-23), and policy resolutions to debate and vote on for that Convention.
Our Ottawa West-Nepean NDP AGM and Ontario NDP Delegate Selection Meeting will be held on Thursday February 23, at 7 pm, in the Atrium at the Ron Kolbus Lakeside Centre, 102 Greenview Ave. (north of Carling & Pinecrest Rd.). Members in good standing are entitled to vote (recently lapsed members are entitled to renew). Other members of the public are welcome to attend and observe.
The AGM agenda will deal with reports and elect the Executive of the Ottawa West-Nepean NDP (President, Vice-President, Federal Financial Agent, Provincial Chief Financial Officer, Secretary, Women’s Representative, Youth Director (age 25 & under), Membership Officer, and 4 Directors at large). That will be followed by our delegate selection meeting to elect up to 10 delegates (at least half to be women) and up to 10 alternates (at least half to be women) for the Ontario NDP Convention. We will also determine what policy resolutions should be submitted to the Convention for discussion.
